You are welcome at Queen's Cross
Queen’s Cross Church has been a spiritual home to thinkers, activists and people of a progressive perspective since its founding in 1881. Today, you will find in our midst a great diversity and variety of people all seeking to deepen their spirituality, and think about what it means to follow Jesus Christ in today’s complex, challenging and exciting world.
We are young and old, white and black, straight and gay; and people from all walks of life and work. And that’s what we enjoy most about Queen’s Cross: whomever you are, and wherever you are on life’s journey you will find a welcome.
If you come to worship on Sunday, then you can expect warmth, a welcome, and a variety of worship experiences. Mostly the services are traditional in structure, but with a slice of modernity in terms of music, poetry and preaching.
Best of all, we think we are a friendly bunch with a real concern for our community, and justice and peace the world over. We think locally and globally when it comes to faith; and consider how to live a productive and thoughtful life in our modern world.
Our church building has undergone significant development in recent years to serve the needs of our community and was 'highly commended' in the Scottish Design Awards.
