LGBT+ People of Faith
Queen's Cross is proud to be an inclusive, open and affirming congregation. We are passionate about the inclusion of LGBT+ people in the life of the Church and our own Church of Scotland. In fact, in 2009 we became the first congregation in the national Church of Scotland to extend the call to an openly gay man in a same-sex relationship, the Rev Scott Rennie, to be our minister.
LGBT+ people have long played an active part in our church family, both in leadership and service. We are glad to have LGBT+ singles and families as part of our congregation - a congregation made up of families of all shades and hues. Who we are matters to all of us; but what matters for us at Queen's Cross is that whoever you are, and whatever your story, you really are welcome here and you'll find a warm embrace and home from home.
